Anyone here do home brew?

Bought a 25 Litre Brigalow fermenter with money I got for christmas and picked up a Blueberry cider concentrate which is supposed to be brilliant.

The Cider said to put it in a 30L fermenter but there was a good 4-5 inches above the 23L line of the barrel I had so assumed it would be okay.

Have the barrel sitting in my bedroom as my bedroom stays at a constant temperature of above 20 degrees but below 28 (mainly due to a computer running in it).

Woke up this morning (day after mixing up the cider) and the fermentation lock is bubbling every 3-5 seconds or so releasing CO2 but the fermenter itself feels quite hard. Should I be worried that the Fermentation lock isn't going to be able to keep up and the barrel will explode? or is this normal?

Was going to contact the manufacturer of the kit (brigalow) but they don't seem to have a website even though theyre one of the major suppliers in Aus.
Mate, your airlock's fine so is the level in the fermenter.
Tip for a new brewer, always try and keep the brewing temp at the lower end of the reccomended temp range. This way there will be less esters from the yeast.
I've only ever made beer, probably a few hundred batches but I can tell you that brigalow beer kits are not the best. Maybe the cider is better but in any case, try a few others. Not trying to put you off, just giving my opinion.
Of course, it is your first brew so I'm sure you will love it!
Tip 2, brewing is a great hobby and if you do get into it, be prepared to put on 10 kg's!

Cider kit is mangrove jack. Was highly recommended by the guy at the home brew place. He said to steer clear of Brigalow. The actual. Fermenter is Brigalow. I wanted a coopers one but the store I went to had them in storage off site and the store never goes down to their storage for customers.

Just having a cool drink by the river at Launching Place, and spotted this beady eyed campaigner, no red belly, think it was Tiger snake, and who judging by his flattened neck/head was just as pleased to see me

How do Wildcards work in Nfl?
There are four divisions(North, South, East and West) within each conference (AFC, NFC)

The winner of each division is seeded 1-4 based in their respective record.

The two next best teams based on W/L across all four divisions get a 'wildcard'.

Take a shovel next time. Or a length of high tensile plain wire. Some solid poly pipe might do the trick also.

Not that I would do that. :D
