Are talking about watchafl? The one where you have to be outside of Australia?

I'm on AFL Global Pass and use it via VPN. Had some glitches the other day but had to change time codes on my laptop which seemed to work.

Great. I just paid $90 a week ago:(

If it's still during the free preview period you can probably cancel it (I just did)

If you've got iOS: settings -> iTunes & App Store -> click on your Apple ID -> view Apple ID -> password -> subscriptions manage ... You can figure it out from there.

No, AFL site. Got a season offer the other day at $80 per year but wanted to see what the quality was like. Might be a limited offer that goes north or south.

I did find it very choppy on the first night as my posts on here that night attest to. However it has been okay since then. I can deal with watching it on my computer screen but reckon it might get dubious on Chromecast. But the NAB Challenge is still free so you can test it out and see if you like it.

If your area has NBN then you shouldn't have a problem. I'm still in ADSL 2 terrain so...weigh it up.

Dont need a VPN it will just go slow.
You can use Unotelly DNS which will keep it fast [emoji106]
Quality is great!

Eh, I have one as it is and no speed problems streaming, DNS' are a great solution though you're right.

Alternative, AFL Global Pass via VPN. $80 a year.

I used to work at Telstra for 11 years and even with a staff discount it was a massive rip-off to get their products and bundles.

I have TPG internet at $40 p/m for 20 Gig, Optus mobile prepaid at @ $17 p/m, PIA (VPN) for $1.50 p/m and Stan at $10 p/m. So @$67 per month for all services - including watching AFL games live.

Telstra bundles suck balls.

Yeah I worked for Telstra too.

I still have my mobile with them. $54 a month (after Alumni discount of 10%) for unlimited everything and 10GB of data. Home phone/Internet is with Optus though. $90 for unlimited everything and the 100mb speed pack.

Where? If you go to the watchafl site it is about $150 USD from memory. How did you get access to this deal?

Just popped up. Don't know if it was a limited time offer or whether it was targeted to some particular overseas group.

Hmmmm I tried the code and my phone returned an error saying it couldnt process that ID. Hopefully get this to work. I have Telstra post paid mobile and Telstra NBN. Would be nice to get something for free.

Edit, yay it worked after trying it a few times. Woo!

Thank you very much :D

Nah not if you have fox sports package you get every game live anyway. Unless you want to watch away from home.

in which case you use foxtel go........or if like some find out the smart card number of someone else and set up and login as yours. ;)

The footy package on Foxtel is $25 per month but that's on top of the basic package of $25 p/m as well. So in reality, to get footy on Fox means paying $50 per month. I'd prefer to use the AFL Global Pass for $7.50 per month.

And do yourself a favour pay the extra 10 bucks per month for HD.
Otherwise you're wasting your time.
That $15 a week, but you get some good entertainment shows, plus all, repeat all V8 races, and all, repeat all, F1 races as well as all F1 practice and pre race shows.
I bought it this year for the F1 exclusively. The footy is a bonus.
And I watched F1 on OneHD then channel 10. The difference between HD and SD is worth $10 a month.

Thanks mate.

The problem here is I'm in Thornbury and there's no NBN service so I'm stuck with ADSL 2, so probably doesn't pay because my ADSL won't cope (as far as I know).
