If Ross does the predictable and knifes Freo for a younger crop of players he can run into the ground, pepper the list with spuds like Dawson and Gumbleton before eventually leaving to repeat;

I doubt any other club would take Ross on now with the way Freo are going, the time to jump ship was the end of last year before his reputation as a master coach got shot to pieces.
