Especially when Carlisle spoke to the hawks which in turn forced Saints hand. Saints were being totally unreasonable before that, so much so that you could visibly see how frustrated dodoro was getting at how obvious they were trying to rip us off. It's not often you see a bloke pick the club he wants then drive his worth up because of how unreasonable they are being..
He was a tosspot doing the year at how he was acting onfield, looking disinterested ect, but other than that he was fine.

The only recent time I've been really annoyed at a player leaving was Paddy. His story derailed our finals series. It was just an unwanted distraction. Can't fault his efforts at all onfield but obviously his management leaked some info somewhere.

Okay hear me out, but this seeing this I now know how this should happen. West Coast make a play, Jobe agrees but signs nothing. Then at the last minute he changes his mind and signs on to play with the Baby Bombers 2.0. He's managed through the year and plays a vital role in our finals campaign lifted the cup at the end of the year.

Parallels Timmy perfectly. Both deserved to win the Brownlow five seasons earlier, both had a year off to freshen up, both the same age entering the season.

Make it happen, premiership would be a nice pick me up after this season.

You are missing the point - Uncontracted players can be traded for fair market value - DFA is being spoken in terms of contracted players.
