and why has triple M and 9 nine reported counting has closed and counting will resume tomorrow, when turnbull has said counting will continue until 2am and house of reps is expected to have a result by 2am?

They all use their own prediction algorithms

What is Wong going on about? Australia rejecting the Liberal mandate? The Liberals are ahead by 7 seats, and by about 6% of the actual vote.

You seemed confused. The government has had a massive swing against it. It may lose as many as 15 seats. It will only just be able to form government. The slightest swing against it at the next election and it's goodnight. The senate will probably also fall in such a way that it will be even harder for the government to pass legislation. Turnbull has gone from unbelievable polling numbers to barely being able to form a government in a matter months. It's not a good result for the Coalition.

AEC website isn't live and up to date; the candidates and their staff have live feeds, I'm guessing the media does too.
