AFL website reporting us being linked to Mitch Grigg, a mid/fwd, been on Crows list for 5 yrs, and has been playing well in SANFL, bit unable to force his way into the strong Crows side. At 23, fits our age profile. Going on the success with Wright & Kerrige, could be a likely pickup.

There's a few at the Crows that I think might be gettable and would improve our side.

I've been chatting with the Crows supporters today and they would be happy with a second and a third round pick for a package of Lyons, CEY, Otten, and Grigg.

Ha ha, I think it's a good deal, but it's not up to me and the Crows Bigfooty board though.

There's also a 19yo at the Crows called Harrison Wigg, apparently killing it in the SANFL, but can't break into the senior team. AFL website saying he maybe on Shakey ground. Is/was a gun junior SA All Australian. Likely type the club could follow up..

No way they delist Wigg. Was named an emergency a few times late in the year and is highly promising. Grigg, Ellis-Yolmen are the two we could get cheaply with Lyons costing a bit more than those two.

All of theses players are worse than kerridge, most people on here don't rate kerridge..

And Brett Anderson would be right.

I think the Bombers will have a very big off season trying to get everyone excited about next year... that includes off field stuff and that means saying they are involved in all the big(ish) trades.

7 News just reported Essendon as leading the race for Marchbank..
Kind of a useless bit of info that one (not having a go at you).
Until he nominates a team, the club that is willing to give up the most for him will be winning the race.
Doesn't mean a thing if he nominates us, or anyone else.

Until he sorts out his fumbles and kicking he's a liability if he plays regular games.
Curnow used to burn it by foot but he had much cleaner hands. Like Carrots before them, kicking can be tidied, it's the clean hands I worry about.

Had a pretty good first half of the year I thought.

Faded badly in the second half of the season - seemed to not recover from the arm injury.

Hard worker and only 23 - I'll back him in to improve in the coming years, just as Carrazzo did.

Curnow and Kerridge have basically identical disposal efficiency. In the low 70s.
Obviously there is more to it but Kerridge isn't as bad as people are making out. Along with Wright easily our best recruit.
Kerridge stats this year out perform Bells from last year, who we got a early 2nd rounder for.
Smart trading if u ask me

Zee is right in that it's not his disposal that makes for the real issue.....it's his handling of the ball.

Kerridge will never be one-touch but he has to get better than he is, otherwise he just won't last.

You can't have someone juggling the ball in their hands. It's a complete momentum killer.

Greg Denham seemed convinced We are getting Marchbank just now on SEN. Was bemused when KD suggested anyone else was even a chance.
I have no idea what his strike rate is like.

Denham is a long way off from this AFL caper.
Sometimes I wonder whether he even watches games or just reads others' material.

Would be nice if we could add Harry Dear to that list. His numbers look very good and seems a great size.

Not sure how 'gettable' he would be but you would think he would struggle for senior opportunities in the Crows forward line.

Bell is a good comparison. Kedge racks up more disposals while Bell had more hurt factor. Both are terrible kicks though.

I don't care for the disposal efficiency stats as they don't tell the full story - Curnow is a bad kick but still infinitely better than Kerridge right now. I was a little confused at how bad Kedge was really because I thought his kicking was sharp in preseason training. It must be a mental thing, gets rushed and just slams it on the boot.

Not sure that's true.
I would say it is to a point. The ones that don't rate him are probably more vocal, so it appears that way anyway.
I think most of us can see his faults and if he can't address them then he's probably not suited to a full-time role in the middle. Personally I'd like to see him play forward with short stints in the middle.

Disposal efficiency is not entirely accurate.
In Kerridges case he gives off a lot of shorter options, and by hand in particular I believe.
His longer deeper kicking is his weekest asset.
