I've a suspicion Donald will walk into a trap tomorrow. Hillary expecting Bill to become the issue and of course they will be waiting.
Donald didn't prepare well before the last debate. He's got to be well coached and I don't think he is coachable. He's to easy to bait and he will go off message. He needs to not show up for debates. I'm suspecting the trap that is set for Donald and his reaction to it will be the story after the debate. Donald needs to make the debate dull.

Au contraire, Trump achieved what he needed to in the debate which was 1) not appear scary and 2) keep his cool. Hillary certainly won on points but that wasn't Trump's primary objective. As for Trump not being coachable, the opposite it true. He's shown that he can read from a teleprompter, he can hold his tongue and not fly off the handle. If you can be bothered, watch the debate again with this knowledge and see if your perception of how it played out is changed from your first impression.

Given hardcore conservatives are disavowing him and endorsing her, it's difficult to see any other outcome.

Goes without saying, it's those who are registered to vote in a non-compulsory system who will, not some malignant "crooked Hillary" bro on Twitter who doesn't even realise he has to register to vote rather than text TRUMP to 13IDOL in order to do so.

I agree it's difficult to see any other outcome but it's the people that will vote and ultimately it will be a choice between Trump or Clinton if they decide to vote.

Hillary is far from perfect but picking between Hillary and Trump is like picking between stubbing your toe or contracting Super AIDS.

How have you come to this realisation?

His own party is turning on him.

The republications have been turning against him the entire time. The relative peace of the past month was not the norm.

My realisation started when it looked increasingly likely that Trump will win the GOP. I've been doing a lot of reading, mostly Scott Adams blog, and it got me thinking, what if Trump was actually an intellectual and he had a plan that was working? This coupled with Hillary's inability to swiftly deal with Sanders, the email scandal, her health issues, being perceived as untrustworthy and a liar and her major mistake in attacking Trump supporters (i.e. US citizens) all pointed me to the realisation that we're likely tumbling towards a Trump presidency.

Trump becoming President is when Idiocracy becomes real.

I think you will find the answer a dissapointing yes.

His supporters will find his antics hilarious
All refugees are rapists.

It's fine when the elite force themselves on women though, they're alpha males.

Yes and no. Tomorrow would be a minor landslide. Nov 8 is tracking to be decidedly less minor.

There's far too much time for things to change and it's guaranteed they will. Pundits have been predicting Trump's demise from the get go.

What exactly are you basing these statements on? Is your assumption that these "silent" Trump voters are deliberately declining to participate in polls to lull us into a false sense of security? That would be an effort of secretive mass cat-herding unprecedented in history.

Trump's ability to win the republication GOP for a start. I read something about there being a flaw in polling that allowed for the silent Trump supporters to slip through the cracks. Can't remember what it was, maybe people who had previously voted or people who said they will vote, the limited sample numbers used in the polls, maybe a combination of all 3. I don't think there's any intentional effort to deceive though.

No question it'll be entertaining, kind of like a building implosion is entertaining.

The problem with going nuclear on the Clintons is, as I said before, it's been done and done to death, and they've come through it. They don't have skeletons in their closet so much as skeletons polished up and grinning on their front porch.

Then it's going to be a boring month

What was the "message"?

- I'm sorry for saying bad things about women
- I'll be an awesome president, Hillary will be a terrible president
- I'm going to be opening a can of whoop-ass on the Clintons

That statement is bad and you should feel bad. You're comparing a fox in the henhouse to the black plague.

It's the sad truth unfortunately.

I've been ignoring the Trump stuff but just heard the old snippet from the Howard Stern thing.. Fair Dinkum Stern is a filthy turd in life's punchbowl as well

What about Trump makes him Super AIDS?

Have you witnessed Trump's 'softening' in the past month bringing his policies in line with mainstream conservatives?

Did you know the UK was building a wall in Calais to stop the immigrants? Did you know the US already does discriminatory vetting of foreigners from the Middle East and those from countries where Islam is dominant? Why should Trump have to pay income tax if he declared a $900+ million loss in the 90s? Even in Australia you can carry your losses forward.

He's either a pathological liar or he's legitimately mentally ill.

He's a pathological liar. So is Clinton and any successful politician.

They're not as far apart as the Clinton campaign and mainstream media would have everyone believe.

So have had a really bad chest cold the past weak and today was looking at my throat to my shock I saw a white/cartilage looking wall at the back of my tongue after some research figured out this is my epiglottis, anyone else can visibly see theirs?

Nah. I'm certainly not saying that the Clintons are bastions of honesty, but when they lie it's at least generally for some sort of benefit, political or otherwise. Trump just seems to do it for fun. Half of the stuff that comes out of his mouth is so blatantly false and so easily disprovable that he may as well be arguing that 2 + 2 = 5.

Any softening or whatever won't survive the barage of dirt the Clinton campaign will dump on the Trump. He's already seen as erratic, kind of sexist, kind of racist by everybody. So any scandal magnifies that - right now he looks like a mega creep.

The clear difference between him and Hillary is that Hillary is seen as competent. Sure, she's establishment as heck and a warmongerer or whatever but every President is. She doesn't notably chop and change stances. She isn't a loose cannon.

There's a shit load between Trump and Hillary when it comes to public perception and that shows in the polls.

Lift the curtain. He's not doing it for fun. Once you realise it's targeted and has been successful, you may shit bricks.

If he had any brains he'd do this at arms length through a third party. At any rate, his campaign is dead so he may not think he's got much to lose by going thermonuclear. Hilary just has to keep her cool and remain statesmanlike to win in a landslide and she'll be able to do that in her sleep. I didn't think the Republicans could do worse than the Tea Party but they've outdone themselves with Trump.

If you want a trump card, this bloke is it..... DINERO for President!!

Every single word that came out of Dinero's mouth, is what 80% of how the US thinking.

Trump, is nothing more than a money hungry, egoistic, self centered campaigner of the highest order....If he made it to presidency, he would be assassinated with a week. Not from ISIS, but from his own, ISIS wouldn't even have to bother.
