Geelong didn't make a first-round draft selection in 2015 and have no first-round selection this year (at the moment) because of the Dangerfield trade I believe.

Clubs have to make 2 first-round selections in a four year period, which means they have to use their first-rounders in 2017 and 2018.

So if we are to get a first-round pick from them in the Tuohy trade, they would need to trade in another club's first-round pick to give it to us (or replace their own which they give to us).

I would suggest you don't rate the players we are looking at from GWS in this deal? To me there is no difference in these players than there is in the draft. Except for pick 5 we get one player alone in the draft.we can receive 5 players from GWS who are former high, first and second round draft picks. I know which way Id prefer to go with pick number 5.

Some are good, others will need to prove themselves. Injuries are also a concern.
We need as many picks as we can get in this draft.

Stats aren't everything, but have a look at his 2016 stats:

- #2 = Goals
- #2 = Disposals
- #1 = Score Involvements
- #1 = Dream Team (still an indication)
- #1 = Goal Assists
- #2 = Contested Possessions
- #3 = Hitouts
- #3 = Tackles
- #2 = Clearances
- #1 = Inside 50's

That's a whole lotta work going out the door.

Gibbs is a gun, no doubt. We need to keep in mind the supporters haven't shoved him out the door...or even the club...by all reports HE has requested a trade. Time to suck it up and hope SOS can sort out a very good deal for us.

We're not very good at sorting very good deals. I hope we can though.
