This sounds familiar, let me guess, you'd be happy with pick 13, Lyons and Ellis-Yoleman.Blues describe Adelaide’s pitch at trade talks: “Arrogant, unethical and lacking respect for Carlton to the point of being disgraceful.”
Ouch - time to walk away from the trade Crows

Umm even Kane Cornes is telling Carlton to get on with itWhere are these quotes and info coming from? Is it all Rucci and Kornes Carlton fans are basing this on?
These posts sound like people with first hand accounts all the definites.
Gibbs will be a crow next year I have no doubt. What needs to remembered is there are plenty of deals that were mentioned long before Gibbs was mentioned and are still not done either e.g prestia or Hibbard which looked to be straight forward. It will get done! I think it should be Adelaide's first pick 2016 first pick 2017 for Gibbs and Carltons second 2017

Yes that's getting better and I'd almost be prepared to sign.

Because he's not a free agent. One thing i think to take into account i think is if Gibbs was a free agent with his record and amount of money being paid the blues would get a compensation pick after their first pick which would be pick 6 so why would carlton settle for anything less
I understand he is not a free agent but doing the right thing by the player and contracting him long term when we could have left him as a free agent and got better compensation i don't see why we would accept anything less than pick 6 or the equivalent.Because he's not a free agent.
It sucks for Carlton but you have a bloke who doesn't want to be there anymore and you have the chance to get more for him now than you ever will in the future. Might as well take the deal and boo the prick next time he plays in Melbourne.
What pressure are we under? We don't have to do anythingCarlton apparently cracking under pressure and aiming for Lyons + CEY with an exchange of late picks
It's being reported all over the web by everyone. Carlton folding like a pack of cards, now asking for a straight swab for Grigg as a last ditch effort to salvage the trade. What pressure are we under? We don't have to do anything
You, me, and everyone else all know that this is not true.Carlton apparently cracking under pressure and aiming for Lyons + CEY with an exchange of late picks
Ha! I must have different internet than everyone elseIt's being reported all over the web by everyone. Carlton folding like a pack of cards, now asking for a straight swab for Grigg as a last ditch effort to salvage the trade.
My quote was directed at Pinot. I'm not offering anything up, I'm happy if we keep CEY and Lyons. I'm not concerned with what Carlton are obliged to do or not.It seems you're possibly offering Lyons and he doesn't interest us or we don't interest him.
We're not obliged to add a player to our list because that player is the one you're trying to shift.

Gibbs is at the back end of his career, he hasn't lived up to the standard everyone thought he offered, borderline elite. I think pick 13 is fair, maybe throw in a fringe player or a round two but that's it.
