PRESTIA DEAL IMMINENT

It's not long now, Richmond fans. Midfielder Dion Prestia is set to be confirmed as a Tiger in the next few hours after the clubs agreed to a deal involving pick No.6 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft. This one's been dragging on since Prestia nominated the Tigers as his preferred club on August 18. The clubs have been haggling over an exchange of second-round picks so it will be interesting to see who comes out with what.
Enjoy loser fatigue Dion.

Can the club techies build a 'trade week' simulator so people unsatisfied with the club not trading in Ablett types for pick 151 are pacified?

How do we get that pick 6 from GC?..

Love to grab a jet in the draft with that pick and watch Ninethmond supporters cry about it like they do over the Buddy/Tambling fiasco for many years to come.

After Prestia's first touch ............

So many media "experts" (and bf posters) having a crack at our recruiters for not doing anything.

Sometimes recruiters hands are tied by factors outside their control

very short memory jclei.
Jacobs is a good tagger dont get me wrong but i think Mountford will become a better player than him pretty quickly.

I actually hope we dont play a full time tagger next year. Would prefer to see some more potent offence from some younger guys like Mountford and take the hit in defence

Geelong's first pick is at 38 isnt it? Looks like they might make a move up the draft order...... interesting.

I'm sure the recruiters are actually doing things but its a case of nothing happens till the big deals are done. Most of the better players have nominated other clubs, we can only change that perception by being competitive in 2017, we have to accept that players think we're dropping off a cliff.
Until we change that perception I'm not sure we'll attract any significant players until 2018 onwards.

Whats everyones thoughts is that it for the roos this trade period.
