Shawshank the most overrated drivel ever.
Joe Dirt is a better fillum than that.
Someone had to post it.

I suggest you continue watching the league as a neutral unless you have an emotional attachment to another team
Its kinda hard with foreign sports since they're on a times that are hard to watch sometimes. This is where my thoughts keep ending up.
an entire lifetime for a dogGuess this is the right thread to dump a random thought.
F**k me dead - just noticed it's coming up on 15 years I've been using this site. That seems like a crazy amount of time.

Any team that re-locates is totally fair to drop.As a Raiders fan also you could have been excused for having those thoughts with them. It probably took Al to die for us to turn it around.
I love American sports (not so much basketball), so I chose a city when I was young. Simplifies the whole processIts kinda hard with foreign sports since they're on a times that are hard to watch sometimes.
I probably wouldn't be arsed with the premier league if I didn't care about Liverpool

Being crap is never a reason to stop support.
However, if I were to spend some time over there in a different city and actually ATTEND games of a team, I'd probably change to those I've seen live.
Hypothetical - is there ever a justification for turncoating on a team you support? I've always believed there isn't, but being a Knicks supporter and seeing them persistently mismanage and fail at everything they put their hand to has made me question my beliefs. It's all the owner too, and he's never gonna sell the team, so it's pointless to even hope it'll change. Thoughts?
I think if you just have a passing interest in it then it probably doesn't really matter.
If your attachment is deeper though you gotta keep the Captain company and go down with the ship.
I have followed the Raiders from Oakland to LA and back again. Won't drop them when they move again, but is probably a bit different when you do not reside in the city they are leaving. That would suck massive eggs.Any team that re-locates is totally fair to drop.
Why should someone from Oakland support a Vegas team or Baltimore - Cleveland, its mad.
Yes, doesn't apply as if you don't live in the city you can follow the franchise. It's a different type of support.I have followed the Raiders from Oakland to LA and back again. There's life outside of BigFootball? Not much in the off-season mate. And yeah ... maybe not so much even during the season of late. Depends what's going on in life.![]()

I've had a couple of mates who hated soccer go over, live and work in the UK, and become die hards after only going to a few games.
From "wogball, like watching paint dry, divers" to "it's ****in' awesome".
Hahah, I went Cubs for a similar reason (and Brewsters Millions). It helped that Chicago had a very strong Welsh background.Yeah same, I picked Chicago on the strength of a White Sox cap that my parents bought me as a kid.
It's worked out pretty well, apart from the f@#kin Bears!

I remember a skit on Comedy Inc going back a few years now and they were parodying sports merch and had a soccer shirt with "**** wogball" crossed out and "go socceroos" in texta.
It was funny because how many people jumped on the soccer bandwagon when the Socceroos had mild success in that world cup.
Plus Raider Nation is bigger than any one city.
And obviouslyPacers because Reggie Miller is my first cousin. Colts because you know one city one dream and the Jacksons are from Gary, Indiana and there is a town nearby called Normal, Indiana and well that's good enough for me.
You must have watched them back to back on mushrooms.Shawshank the most overrated drivel ever.
