Why then, can they not defeat Isis in three years?I think you underestimate how far ahead the US' air superiority, including satellite imaging and targeting is of everyone else.
Sure if it's against guerrilla or unconventional forces the US struggles - but that ain't describing Chai-nah.
She can run all she wants, but she won't go close to winning. She is but I don't think she thinks that

Trouble is for her, next time other potentially good candidates who would scared of stepping in this time because Hillary had all the money and organisation, won't be scared this time, they'll all go, and she'll be too old against the new wave.I don't think the Democrat voters are quite smart enough to figure that out

I'm prepared to bet any amount of money she won't win one primary next time (reckon 99.99% chance she won't even run)
http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/311436-top-15-democratic-presidential-candidates-in-2020What are the good candidates that aren't halfway in the grave for the Democrats? Would the Castros have a dip?
If Bernie Sanders is 10 years younger you can already bookmark him for next president

Personally I think defeating Isis is a matter of wanting to, and there is a pretty strong argument for this....for example large convoys of Isis fighters were able to travel hundreds of km across open desert for the latest recapture of palmyra.Because they are not committing to a land war against ISIS, because if they did it would bog down and be Afghanistan/Iraq insurgency all over again and they're screwed
You are conflating objectives.Personally I think defeating Isis is a matter of wanting to, and there is a pretty strong argument for this....
But they can defeat china with air power only ? What if China survives the initial onslaught and takes over a few smaller nations, say South Korea and Phillipines, who has really won, the only way to recover those countries would be a ground war.
A start would be for them not to have control over an area about half the size of France in one of the most strategically valuable places on earth. To really beat Isis you would have to defeat the enablers also. It would require strategic changes and the major powers all to work together. You are conflating objectives.
If we are talking about opening the sea lanes in the South China Sea, the US could do this by force, if you talk about having an objective to stop China if they take over smaller nations, well then you're in a nuclear stand off.
How they **** do you defeat ISIS, what does victory look like? It's the same issue the Russians and US have had in Afghanistan, France and the US in Vietnam, and a thousand other examples.
Since Procrastinator35 has been back with his videos, I have watched a few and by clicking to other videos on the right I came to a site which then led me to many other sites and I am surprised to see lots of videos which promote the following stories:
The Obamas are getting divorced
Barak is gay
Michelle is transgender (see photo of her dancing on Ellen)
The kids are adopted
Etc Etc
Sheez, so many brain dead people yet still capable of breathing and posting. I must live in a bubble, how did I not know any of these things.
Fake news is alive and well.
You can't blame me for Jones & Icke....Discretion is advised.....The one's you've mentioned are clearly the loony alt right.
The one's I mainly stick to are: The New Progressive, Democracy Now, RT, Jimmy Dore, The Intercept, John Pilger, Redacted Tonight & TheRealNews....That's my subscriber list.

I like what I've seen of Tulsi Gabbard so far. She should run - when she's olderWhat are the good candidates that aren't halfway in the grave for the Democrats?

Seem to be some recent concerns about her visit to Syria, then not declaring properly who funded it. Don't know enough to know how much is valid.I like what I've seen of Tulsi Gabbard so far. She should run - when she's older![]()

ISIS dies, then who replaces them? You putting 100,000 troops on the ground to maintain the "peace" or are you letting the vacuum exist and ISIS mk2 takes it's place.
That list is convenient, thank you for coming clean.![]()
The only war China would win is a war of attrition. And due to the fact that the Chinese army is particularly soft, as a consequence of decades of single child policy and the ensuing mummies' boy culture, they would be mowed down in frightening numbers. They might eventually win, but the cost to the people would be impossible to bear, and therefore probably never going to happen.
Plus, they don't want war. No-one wants perpetual conflict. Except the NRA and affiliates.
