Can anyone give me an estimate of what your average third year player might be offered in a contract? Just curious?

I'm hoping I am wrong but I thought those hesitations occurred because he couldn't run onto his left side at all.
Thanks.200-250k.

The average non-entry contract is about $350K. That includes the big paydays for established players as well as the kids coming off their draftee deals, obvs. Can anyone give me an estimate of what your average third year player might be offered in a contract? Just curious?
WTF have I been doing with my life. The average non-entry contract is about $350K. That includes the big paydays for established players as well as the kids coming off their draftee deals, obvs.

What do my esteemed peers think that Declan is worth to us. $250k over two years, $400k over three? That assumes, of course, that money is the issue.
So what would you bid?
Declan offers what we don't have, so, salary cap permitting, I offer him a more generous, longer term contract.
Nor can i. The confidence to take on a player like that at AFL level can't be taught. Jy does it too. Keep him in. See how he goes in the next 2 games. If he goes well offer him a 3 year deal. You'd think we'd give him an offer he can't refuse, would be shattered if he left. Has so much of what we lack and will only get better. Quick, tough, not a shocking kick, versatile and backs himself to take the game on, I struggle to think of anyone else on our list with those kind of attributes. Probably still needs to find more of it and could be a bit more damaging with his disposal but I can't see him dropping out of the 22 from this point on.
With the salary cap going up by 20%, that $350K average becomes more like $420K. Maybe 3x$350K or 2x$400K?What do my esteemed peers think that Declan is worth to us. $250k over two years, $400k over three? That assumes, of course, that money is the issue.

Agree GG, this is why i reckon he is being wasted in a tagging role, use him as a weapon where he can back himself more often.Nor can i. Just think it was one of those learning curve things. Run with some studs and learn their positioning etc.Agree GG, this is why i reckon he is being wasted in a tagging role, use him as a weapon where he can back himself more often.
