I have a suggested rule change for the brownlow
- Suspension only disqualifies polling after the suspension date.
In that way if Danger has enough points already he can win. Likewise for Dusty if he is rubbed out next week.
After all they are the best and fairest that season before they are suspended.

That could work.

I've always liked the simple idea that your are eligible for the Brownlow, but in games that you are suspended for you don't get votes.

Mind you, I have no time for the Brownlow as the umpires opinion is pretty meaningless to me. Their job should be focusing solely on adjudicating the game properly, not picking the best players. I think there are other awards with more weight to them.

We all know he wont leave but for arguments sake lets say he went to that disaster of a club.

I have no doubt the whole competition would look at him and say " you are top 2 player in the comp and have your choice of clubs, why would you go to a club with next to no chance of making finals for the rest of your career "

also that is just disrespectful to his team mates, Cotchin, Rance and Reiwalt true champions of our club all signed long term deals
