I haven't been impressed by Lade whatsoever. His work with the forward line speaks for itself and I find his whole demeanour to be way too casual. I can see why Richmond gave him the flick.

This. No gravitas, no charisma. None of his media or his coaching suggests he's any good. Just another jobs for the boys type arrangement, we're so incestuous that it's no surprise we are birthing a list with webbed feet.

Probably remembered most as having played for the hawks before they became a powerhouse again...

Also played for Fitzroy (like Kern) and Brisbane before that. Been around forever as an assistant - was caretaker coach at Carlton when they sacked Malthouse mid-year. Had plenty of time to impress there.

Yes, I had to google him as well. Somehow I have no recollection of him as Carlton's coach. We probably lost to them during his tenure :oops:

Yep, we gave him his first of 3 wins as an AFL coach. #weexisttobreakrecords
