He's worth paying plenty just to watch him live in the flesh conjure up moments that leave you in absolute awe.

When we first got him I said I thought $500k/year was about $100k/year too much, but that we needed to pay that to get him in because of the Tippett sanctions.

As it turns out, $500k/year has been a bargain. I honestly couldn't think of a free agent that has performed better than expectations than Eddie (including Franklin and Dangerfield).

He's been here 4 years and has been AA 3 times and AA squad once. That ridiculously good.
