umm hello, you mentioned small forwards are not worth much at the trade table, since when was LaCras anything but a small forward.

He's been a medium forward not a small forward has never played like a small forward in his career.

About 2-months ago Freo had shown the most interest but the Eagles have stepped up recently according to a local media friend. Will be interesting who offers the better deal to secure him. Suns just want him gone.

If not, he needs to be able to cut the mustard as a high HF/midfielder. And I'm not sure he ticks that box either. Also some question marks about how much he brings in terms of forward-half pressure. And he'll be 26 in March.

So for WC, he conceivably becomes a readymade replacement for LeCras/Hill. But I wouldn't want to give up much in exchange. Assuming WC have a second-rounder in the 20s, I'd consider that overs in a straight swap.
