You are correct. I stated it was out of context. The only embellishment was that the players were deserting us, and it is actually five players. We are more likely pushing them along, but will be happy to retain Impey and Young. Best for Lobbe and Trengove to move on. Ah Chee I am not too sure about. I think we learnt a lot when Hamish went shopping.

If Young and Impey were certainties to get games next year they wouldn't be looking for other options. That is also true for the other 3 players mentioned.
From where I stand we can only thank them for their service and hope the beat for them.

They'll certainly be welcomed at the B&F and if any of them deserve an award I have no doubt that they will be given it.

I note that you are a hundred percent sure he is joining us, and I truly wish that he does. In the spirit of my post, we have reports that five clubs are now after him following two good finals games. He has visited the GCS facilities and will be interviewed by the Crows this week. And we "haven't even spoken to him". So who knows. Hopefully we have come to an agreement with his manager already, and Motlop's touring will just confirm us as first choice.
