After that you get the likes of Stephenson who is fast, etc BUT there is questions over his disposal, also he has played most his footy forward until this year. Some not 100% sure he can play AFL mid

I reckon Cerra belongs on that list .
Woweee he impresses me , foot skills , composure, hardness .
One happy campaigner if we get this kid .

You’ve actually missed the point of my argument, suggesting someone doesn’t know the game plan because they don’t agree with your perspective is a little childish. Trying to rule with some imaginary iron fist and dismiss everyone else’s points as uneducated because they don’t agree is a little narrow minded.
I know you’ll say the players can piss off if they don’t like it but I don’t see the point of telling certain players at the end of last year “we won’t play you for the remainder of this season because we want to see who to delist but we’ll play you in 2017” does wonders for the confidence specially actually getting them in the team meetings whilst others who don’t perform get games.
Anyway I’m happy to agree to disagree.

If we knew if Cerra was going to be there at 7/8 I'd prefer to keep those instead of trading for 2 and 21. Could even go pick 8 for Richmonds picks and (potentially) draft Bonar and O'Brien. End result being Cera, Bonar and O'Brien.

Yeah he isn't far off. Injuries have cruelled him and haven't allowed him to show his best form. Only averaged around 20 poss per game in Champs

Re the talk of where our improvement next year might come from, or how much improvement we have in us, here is something to ponder

Senior AFL games missed/not played in 2017:

22: Freeman, Goddard
20: Armitage
17: Paddy
10: Savage
7: Koby
6: Dunstan
5: Longer, Sinclair
4: Gilbert, Acres, Webster, Weller
2: Steven, Bruce, Membrey, Steele

And pretty much all bar the first two are likely to be best 22 or 23 in 2018.

Easy to forget that several who were best 22 by the end of the season didn't play a handful of games, like in particular Savage missing 10, Koby missing 7 and Billy and Sincs missing 5.
