Watched it again a few days ago again, such a fun fight. Good to see Choi back.

None of this is good news lol Jung didn't fight for 3 and a half years and now hasn't fought in 12 months. Although the military is 2 years, he will be out a bit longer than that and I can't see an argument for it benefiting his career. The good news is that he should come back at the prime of his career at 28-29. Jung had to do the same thing and he didn't miss a beat coming back and KOing Bermudez, so hopefully Choi can do the same.

Surely they should be allowed to do it later in life, considering Jung just got stationed in an office.
Can't remember where I heard/read it, so I could be wrong. Is he actually due to do service right after this fight? I heard he still had 12 months
Although at the rate that he has been fighting (once a year), I guess this is his last fight

Either way, sooner the better really.
Must have heard it wrong.http://mmajunkie.com/2018/01/dooho-choi-korean-superboy-ufc-title-shot-mandatory-military-service
Still at least a year away he reckons.
Awesome!I guess Khabib vs Tony could still be the co-main
Edmund would be proud!Head movement is key...

http://mmajunkie.com/2018/01/jimmy-smith-signs-ufc-bellator-color-commentatorIn other news, Big John has retired from refereeing and is slated to replace Jimmy Smith at the announcers desk in Bellator. His 1st card? Rory McDonald vs Douglas Lima.![]()
I've always thought Smith was a bit of a cretin. Especially at weigh-ins...looks and dresses like a dud. Was kinda happy that he was no longer with Bellator, but now he's joining the UFC lol.http://mmajunkie.com/2018/01/jimmy-smith-signs-ufc-bellator-color-commentator
Good news. Could potentially see Smith replacing Rogan when he eventually gives it away.
Never watched a bellator weigh-in and couldn't care what he wears. I think he is quite media savvy and he is obviously very knowledgeable. He is atleast a good stop gap until the likes of Cruz, Cormier and Felder etc. become more polished behind the mic.I've always thought Smith was a bit of a cretin. Rogan is way better as an announcer/commentator imo. Hoping Rogan sticks around for quite a bit longer.
Rumours of Tony vs Khabib April 7 in New York
As much as I want to see Tony get a shot at unifying first, Tony vs Khabib is the most interesting UFC match-up IMO.
