He is a poor captain. The worst in the afl.Incapable of influencing a game. Doesn't even seem capable of organising the backline. Not even best 22.

Well all that does is show your lack of footy knowledge about not being in the best 22 so as if I would take notice of you about captaincy. Lost credibility just there.

Fair call bird_man...........I've always wondered if we'd get more at the G.

Very few I know like going to Etihad but they go as it's our home ground...like it or lump it.

I think the G has changed over the years with seating but several years ago....a good chunk was unreserved on the ground level....you could rock up......pay yr GA and grab a seat.

Last year for the Melb game.....the person who bought our tics said there was very little GA seats on the ground level....we did get reserved seats for $50......that was a pricy day with a crap result...lol.

The problem that has always been at Etihad is you sit up with the Gods(if you want a seat) if you have a membership but no reserved seat or a GA tic.

Its funny but I think we would get less at the G. Anyway it doesn't matter. After the performance we put on there is no way we will get the next good Friday. My guess is North and Carlton. Also the crowd was hopeless as well. Sad because the club is on high membership wise even those figures are inflated for every club over the last 3 or 4 years. Ours crowds sort of prove that.

Been to 2 trainings over the last couple of weeks and that was a big insight for me. Very very quiet on the track.

Marching I am now truly worried there is something completely array with the group of players and the coach or coaches!

If the coaches want a turn around thats where it begins. Scary times ahead it would seem.

Our crowds of 25,000 would look ridiculous at the G
As Saint Watto mentioned,
We were unstoppable at Etihad in 09/10.
Unfortunately the grand final isn't played there.

If we had a home ground advantage at the Mcg, that team could have gone back to back.
In which case I guarantee we would have more members and bigger crowds.

It's all about wins and losses
Good call George....it's all about that.

I remember during 2016....Richmonds home crowds were way down on the previous 3 years.......they started losing and playing like crap.

Would have taken more at the gate, spent more on support staff and marketing etc. It would have helped a bit.

Just one. Is it too much to ask for?
Apparently it is......like you VDS.......I just one to see one....I'm not greedy.......if somewhere down the track we did a 3 peat like the Hawks...ok...I'll take that.

In the days when we were flying....we did have an imposing home ground advantage there......aarrrhhh...the memories.

There was a time we never lost a Saturday night game at Etihad. Those were the days...

Anyone know how close to the salary cap limit for the football department?
If we're close, we're not getting value for money.
If we're penny pinching it might explain the choice of a few of our assistants.
Do the Finnis and Lethlean salaries come under the cap?

Close

Well it looks like I'm taking a family of recently arrived compatriots of yours on Saturday...

Interesting. From where?
Hope they get a decent game or you may fail to convert them

We need that “What about me” song as our pregame song. Play that excruciating Shannon Noll version until they win one.

Anyone think Hird would be any good?
Should be a Little bit more humble and smarter these days.
I think he would be good.
Consider the clowns we have assisting at the moment...
Maybe not their fault I could be being unfair, but we know something for sure stinks in the coaching department.

Can he still get the gear with out Dank. Essendon have done well from it.

They really did come out on top didn't they?
Despite what their fans think the team they had was never gonna make it to the top.
They did look really good that half year on the juice before the soft tissue gave way.

Instead of battle on with the same group, they were able to fast track a rebuild, 3 top 10 picks in 2 years inc. a #1.
Older players got a year off to let their bodies recover, and they got the pick of the crop of free agents, found a few good ones.

Life's good at bomberland now, AFL sets them up with a good easy draw to bring the fans back.

Surely we could create our own version?

Well there's a middle aged man who is melting like a 5 year old child.

He makes his way to the ground and in a voice out loud he gets to his feet and he says...

What about me?
It isn't fair.
Forty ****ing years and I want my flag.
Can't you see, I wanna believe.
But you just lose more than you win...
What about me?
