I reckon Bailey is a 15-20 bid personally but we will see. Anyway my point was Geelong i doubt take any pick for Kelly unless it's high enough they are certain it will be live and not for bids. After trading out R2 and in 2 x R3 and 2 x R4 we would be morons to take a pick for Kelly that goes on a bid.

Another alternative.. we have talked before about trading up... If we have 21.. and maybe a 2019 R1..how early can we get?

On the FS value.. I just dont see(ATM) any of the players were are linked to being that early... but if we were worried that Scotts value had changed or that GC were willing to bid early ... then it changes. Plenty of time to work that out ... Scott will nominate GC imo ..and the we will not bid on him ..North on the other hand.

I like Brander because I think eventually he could be a Hawk replacement and though Esava shows promise that's still a spot where we need options (Stanley and Black are D grade Crameri is old Buzza is average and Menzel has body issues). Unless we are getting a best 22 midfield replacement or a good KPF or a pick that would get us one of the King twins i see no reason to trade Kelly early.

I think we are a shot for Bailey if GC struggle to win games but we will see and see where the bids come.

Honestly how unfair are theses academy that the Northern Clubs have. GWS & Gold Coast & Swans & Brisbane they have... They get more out of it then us traditional clubs in the Father Son.... Its time for the AFL to be equal.

Richmond are hardworking but vastly overrated. Their gameplan makes them good the list is middle of the road. If we bring the right tactics and buy in from the players we can beat them.

They were beaten by an Adelaide side that was fielding a SANFL grade midfield, I don't even understand how people can think Richmond are an unstoppable force.

Oh well.

Fox.. no such thing.. Its unfair ..they get anzac day..its unfair they get 9 games in geelong ..its unfair they get FSons from an era of VFL when we don't from SANFL etc... on and on.

I’ll put it out there that they won last year coz everyone expected then to rollover and they dustified themselves.

Loved seeing ‘em win over adel but the fun has to stop at some point.

Id prefer more emphasis on where the recruits are coming from... if the player has been found and developed from a non afl background I have no problem with the current discounts at all. Good luck and well done but I think just recruiting a football family by employing his father doesn't really meet the overall objectives... and then to deny a FSon by doing that is rather unpalatable... so I do not think you should be getting any discount at all for Blakey.
