The same way we lost to freo when they hadn't won a game in perth, Brisbane at the Gabba in 2015 and carlton at the G and Etihad in 2015-2016..

Carlton wont budge and wear their white strip for a home game and Essendon like collingwood get away with a clash Guernsey that looks hardly different to their home. The AFL never tell the traditional Vic clubs what to do.

they didn't have a scrum. where all 36 players are around the ball.

Also carlton had more white in their guernsey in the 1800s

Essendon have red clash this year its more a case of the VFL letting them do what they want.

If Carlton beats Essendon today its gonna tell us even more about our group.

Weirdly I feel like it's better to have this happen to a team we lost to than a team we beat.

eg. When Sydney went on that slide last year our early win against them got less and less impressive.

We lost to the Dons though so who really gives a ****. It doesn't matter if you lose by 1 or 50

It's hard to see West Coast missing the grand final.

This year seems more about good KPP’s and good coaching than any year in recent memory IMO. Absolute bog average teams on paper like West Coast and North Melbourne are having success based on a very simple ‘get ball, kick ball long to big forward’ game plan. If Ken Hinkley was coaching those teams West Coast would be bottom 6 and North would be spoon chances.
