No point debating, but the bloke got to 100+ games for a reason and was offered contracts by both us and Richmond. He kicked 7 goals in his last 4 games before suffering a career ending injury - a time/age when most forwards hit their prime.

Sheldon managed just over 40 games and was statistically inferior in practically every single way to Mcguane.

I completely understand your POV and feel the same about others who have left the club. However, being someone who also struggles with mental health issues I think he made the right decision to go home and back into a support network of long term family and friends. I hold absolutely no ill will towards him and wish him the best in his football career and personal life.
I do take issue with idiots who laugh and ridicule the lions for letting him go. As much as I love the lions and footy...it is a game and therefore not worth him jeopardising his health and well-being for.

Not bashing by any stretch and he's still just a kid but god Josh really struggles to get near it doesn't he? His mobility is an obvious issue but his biggest problem could be that he just doesn't get to or effect nearly enough contests.
