Not bashing by any stretch and he's still just a kid but god Josh really struggles to get near it doesn't he? His mobility is an obvious issue but his biggest problem could be that he just doesn't get to or effect nearly enough contests.

Not at all suggesting that we should have done anything else but take Rayner at Pick 1. I was driving that Rayner bandwagon hard before the draft .Just thought Stephenson looked like a great kid and that all that stuff about his "heart" condition was massively overblown.

We ruled out Stephenson. Heart condition + Queensland heat = massive concern.

Brayshaw was 2nd on our draft board.

Cerra looks like a good kid too.

But somehow, I think we did pretty good with Rayner at 1 and Bailey at 15.

These two excite me more than Brayshaw and Cerra

Well, Schache kicked their last goal of the game.. in the second quarter.

I honestly can’t pretend band on heart that I want to see him deliver his pick 2 potential. It’s a zero sum league and opposition players playing well is a net loss for us.

I genuinely wish him happiness in general though.

wish him all the happiness, but he's a spud and soft as a footy player. Wont ever make it... In before 5 goal performance.

Schache reminds me of a Justin Koschitzke type talent and forward.

I really don't understand how he could go backwards so much after his super impressive first year.

I still remember his game against north in his first year. He took something like 5 contested marks in the one game... from last year onwards it just seems he has lost all confidence.
