Getting the feeling Burgoyne will be replaced by Sloane at the end of this year, and we are now plotting and experimenting with our future over these next 4 weeks and beyond, without the great man....Reckon the Sloane deal has already been done too, ( At least as a handshake ), and as usual, 2 of our veterans will be retired by the end of this season. I have also heard Brayshaw a number of times suggest Sloane to Hawks is a perfect fit for both parties which I find really strange!!!

I dont think JDG will leave Collingwood, but wouldnt surprise me if Norf go all in and bomb out again

Having said that, I would prefer us to be chasing JDG on 800+ than Sloane on 700+, even if it meant doing a trade.

Nah. Rioli was not in any plans to move on this year. Hence why he was contracted well passed 2018.

As Topiary has posted, we’ve been looking towards the 2017-2018 draft/trade period for some time, and have made the required moves to do so....this Niall article is one of the poorest he’s written considering how easily he’s overlooked the $$$ that have moved out of the cap in the last 2 seasons(Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis, Vickery).
