Get him to tail Pendlebury in the gym and on the track. Give him an appetite for what’s required and let him learn the craft from the best in the business when it comes to being pure silk.Sounds about right. I don't quite agree with any suggestion that we should load 50 games into him, because I do think he needs to start showing a bit more than he has been, but it'll be at least another pre-season before his value becomes apparent.
He's not really keeping anyone out of the side at the moment, so I'd be happy to see him given a few more games to show some improvement.

The issue is our lack of outside midfielders. We have an abundance of inside midfielders in Brown, Sier and Wills to name a few.
I've never really enjoyed any of Daicos' games to this point. When Daicos, Brown and Stephenson were all playing at the start of the year, you would see flashes from Stephenson (his speed and goal sense) and Brown (his inside work), but Daicos' weapons just weren't shown on AFL level.
Granted, I think there is an upside to him. He does appear to be a smooth mover of the ball... which looks great, but his disposal is still very poor.
He needs a couple more pre-seasons in him. Glad to keep him around and develop him, but his inclusion into the side speaks more of our lack of outside midfielder depth than it does about how good Daicos is.
Disagree. A few times he looked good early. 3 hours early.Agree. Daicos was completely invisible in the first nine rounds. Not a single stat to his name.

Where have I suggested anyone else should be.How many players can pendles have following him around at any one time?
We are going to need a Plan B at some point.
Yep, but I wish he'd get the ball another 10 times a game at least! You can’t teach what Daicos has, his Dad gave him that gift, it’s up to him to get the most out of it. Love they way he goes left or right boot without thinking. Keep playing him.
For sure, hopefully he can develop that in time.Yep, but I wish he'd get the ball another 10 times a game at least!

Daicos with the way he moves is the player on the list that would most benefit from it.

I wonder if he was more relaxed having not being selected in the team.
Not having to anticipate the game, not having to study a defined role or opponent.
Game suddenly thrust upon you with zero expectations.

Has his old man's awareness, great skills, will be a real gun within 2 years.Very good game, barring the one bizarre out on the full. He has awareness that you can't teach. Anything this year is a bonus, but he can become a real weapon 12 months from now on.
He gets cleaner with every game at the top flight. It's starting to slow down for him already.
