I didn’t follow this camp story initially, behind the repeat playing of the Richmond song part, so I’m massively lost at this point. It just keeps coming up, over and over.

What the hell could they have done that was so shattering?

This was a new nugget of info I hadn't heard until today:

"Hampton is understood to be among some of Adelaide's indigenous players who were offended by the use of an artefact during the Crows' mind training camp in January."

Malcolm Blight needs to be put in a retirement village he's, on a mission to destroy the game no matter what. Senile old man trying to stay relevant.

Said the coaches and the players need to stay out of the discussion when it comes to rule changes. Only the most suitable people to actually make decisions on where the game is at.

Read somewhere on BF that they referred to some dead relatives of players (presumably to try and drum up some sort of emotional response) and the indigenous players got upset - there are pretty strong cultural sensitivities when it comes to the deceased with some indigenous people I think.

This is true. SBS always puts warnings ahead of programmes showing images of aboriginals who are deceased.

Yeah I knew I’d regret that. It was only half a quarter that I saw. But he seemed very old school ruck - like no willingness to get involved at ground level and no tackling etc
