Why? What is your reasoning.

Max Gawn - Currently recognized as the best ruck-man in the AFL is listed at 208 cm Weight 109kg
Brody Grundy - Currently recognized as the heir-apparent is listed at 203cm weight 102kg

Oscar McInerney - Currently listed at 204cm 107kg
Pretty much ideal and in line with the best of modern day ruck-man.
i legit cant believe that... couldnt be right surely there is nothing of him compared to gawn and grundy

What's a bit, is it the same as motza?
I interpret "worth a bit" in AFL trading terms as top 10 draft pick maybe first rounder in the teens.
What do you say we should pay for him?
id give a 2nd round pick for him

He is currently in the team as the second ruck. Spending the majority of his time in the forward line.
He doesn’t need to ruck for any longer yet! He gets around the ground pretty well for a big fella. He will probably never be another Stef as far as disposals around the ground go.
His strength will be as a tap ruckman.
agree with you, i think he gets around the ground great.

I personally would be very much in favor of going after Shai Bolton, he can't get a game for the Tigers so would come reasonably cheap ie. 3rd-4th rounder. Another high pressure goal kicking small forward would come in as handy depth at the least. He was pretty highly rated by some in his draft year.
Been thinking about him as well for a while. Last game I watched him play he played poorly. However, that is only one game and could change with a decent run at it. Like you say wouldnt have to give up much. Unsure whether club is in stage of drafting depth at this point in time.

Probably not the right thread but I feel like Big O's value is almost greater as a second ruck. Up forward he is a legitimate dangerous target and applies great pressure. I feel like the O is a chance for 2 goals a game and his presence has meant that defenders can't zone off him onto Hipwood or McStay. Feel like he is also a good kick for goal and I don't just mean for a ruckman - in reality I haven't seen stats on his goal kicking and it's just a feeling.

Oscar applies great pressure when it is tight. I'm really impressed with what a good tackler he is. When he has to cover the ground, eg to cover a switch, he struggles IMO. I thought Adelaide were able to waltz out of our back half last week and often it was Oscar who was labouring.

Similar role to Rory Lobb while they had Mumford. Let him relieve the first ruck as well as taking some big grabs around the ground and hopefully in the forward line.

He does hurt us sometimes up forward when he's the closest to goals e.g. when Hipwood wheeled around 60 out hoping to kick it to space for the forward to run into but then saw it was O and ended up turning it over.

Jayden Short 22 years old, elite ball user/runner, small defender, still OOC 2018. Could he be squeezed out of the Tigers because of salary cap pressures ie. Possible Tom Lynch acquisition.

I'd be very hesitant about trading any decent picks for another small back given we have a few in the reserves and i don't think there difficult to find.

understand this but stef is apparently 103kg compared to O stef is huge and O is skinny as ****
Last I heard Stef was more around the 110 mark (in spite of his tiny legs). Big O is much taller than Stef, a very very large man when you see him up close, and would definitely be 100+. He's ungainly looking and a bit slumped in the shoulders and so that may make him look skinnier than he actually is, but he's twice as solid as Hipwood.

He is a bit slumped in the shoulders maybe his height is wrong too?
Could be more like 209cms if he stands up straight:think:
Bit of a lumbering Giant though!
I have met him, he seems like a great young man and is absolutely wrapped to be playing AFL footy.

Surely cant be right, theres nothing of him

When you look at him, he is much like Jamie Charman as in he is large bones and his muscle is rock hard. Blokes like that are heavier than they look. And hurt when they hit you.

very true didnt think about that. I might be completely wrong thinking he is all skin and bones and ill admit that.
