If Richmond were out, he wouldn't have bothered mentioning it. And lets be clear that he went out of his way to bring it up.

I reckon:
- He's on his way because he loves the club: his best mates and his sister are already here.
- He's happy to take $800,000, with that building over the years as older players drop off.
- He'll be getting $800,000 + a premiership + all the cash that comes from being a Richmond hero.

- He has been told to leak Collingwood stuff to both take off some heat and also to let Richmond stick it up Eddie at the appropriate moment.
