Today's matches show the biggest problem with the AFL is not congestion etc but that there are about 44 players too many in the comp.

And most of them play for Carlton!

They'll try to address it by reducing the number of players per team. But there will still be less elite players per team on average.

Yeah, GWS were trialing that rule on the weekend for the AFL. It didn’t seem to have much impact on them!

So Muppetangelo has Port losing to West Coast this week, winning against Collingwood at the G and beating Essendon last round. The idea that he thinks they’re a better chance against Collingwood than West Coast is funny. He has them finishing 7th with 12 wins.
If you look further you’ll see that he has Geelong winning every game but finishing 9th with 11 wins. If Port drop the Collingwood game they miss out on the top 8 by percentage.
Now you can understand why he’s picked them against Collingwood.
His judgment is more clouded than Hinkley’s.

Went to that game, we ended up losing by over 100 points.

After the game we were out the front waiting for the bus to return us to Adelaide, the amount of abuse we copped was amazing and we just lost by over 100!!

God help us if we had managed to win, was a real eye opener.

When I was in my early teens, my family traveled over to watch the Crows play Collingwood at Victoria Park. I had made a banner out of a bedsheet that said “Kick a Vic”. When she found it in the car, Mum refused to let me take it to the game as she thought I may get bashed in the crowd for having it. In hindsight, she was probably right!

Interested to hear on the radio just now that Western Australia police are looking into the Gaff incident as a potential assault. I've always thought Barry Hall should have been charged for the Staker punch - something so unequivocally outside the rules of the game and so dangerously violent shouldn't be condoned as somehow being a part of the physical contest.

Just have to put it down to bad eyesight. Possibly the result of a lifetime of eating KFC.

Some even posted screen shots as 'proof' where you could clearly see the ball inside the goal post.

I love KFC!!!! There were around 5 pages on that thread with them going back and forward and then it finally hit me what they were talking about.....they where watching the vision in reserve WTF????
I was itching to comment but they've already band me from posting anything on Port Power and t least some of them knew the ball was going from left to right.....

I still think what Jonas did to Gaff a couple of years ago was a lot worse than what occurred on the weekend. It was a deliberate elbow to the back of the head which he lined up from 20 meters away. Yesterday Gaff tried to hit a bloke in the chest, missed, and flushed him in the jaw. I don't remember any calls for Jonas to be investigated by Adelaide police after that particular event ??
