Yep gun footballer but dull as sh*t.

Explains it all earlier this year when he wanted a security guard fired for not letting him into a JLT game for free... the words "do you know who I am" were spoken.

Wasn't that a send up?

Thought the whole thing was proven to be a skit for triple m or something?

Yep. Salisbury North football club kicked out of the whole league for player indiscretions.

But Gaff is remorseful so don't overreact. Oh yeah, and he had a round of golf with the guy he hit so that has to count for something.
It doesn't count for anything other than the back story. It's not something you'd regularly do to a mate, it's not something Gaff has ever done before... so I guess it's trying to figure out why the **** he did it in the first place. Regardless of the reasoning behind the punch, it doesn't condone what he did, it doesn't lessen it in any way. It's nice to know he's not a complete douchebag and is absolutely remorseful. And most importantly, it doesn't (shouldn't) change one little bit the penalty coming his way.

All this score review conspiracy crap from Pear supporters like it is the one thing that has derailed their season is mind blowing. It really is true how messed up most of them are. They have lost 3 of the last 4 matches after looking like a lock for top 2 only a month ago. If they lose this week which is quite possible, the wheels could come off completely and miss the 8 . If that did happen thats a spectacular capitulation even by Power standards.. How would Kern explain that. Probably by going back to that goal review...

If any of you are yet to venture over to the PAPs board, check out their score review thread. Read from the start. It is just brilliant - you couldn't make this stuff up. The bloke vehemently arguing that the ball actually went through the points area despite being repeatedly told he was watching the vision in reverse is just comedy gold.

Calling it now.

IF Port are stuck on 13 wins after their last game

Will Kenny and Kano cry about the AFL scheduling their game on the Friday night when a team sitting ninth goes past them on Saturday or Sunday knowing exactly what score they need to sneak through on percentage and knock Port out.

Would love to see that happen
- similar to when we lost double chance years ago when St Kilda v Essendon (i think it was) and one of them laid down in the last quarter

It will be hilarious if that ends up being the moment that derails their season. Someone put salt in Ken's cake of Coke zero.

The sad thing is, he and the Brayshaw lads are mates - played golf last week together apparently. I reckon Brayshaw had probably been niggling him all day (as mates and footballers do) and he just snapped. I don't believe he intended to hit him in the jaw, but he did, so he has to wear the consequences of that.
Apparently they are not mates and did not play golf together.

Someone needs to suggest that Wines’ shot on goal should’ve been reviewed also.

What about the fumble by Hombsch (I think it was) in kicking out that cost them a point. Or the one they rushed with virtually no pressure.

Both were sloppy defending.

Two points right there in a game that ended up being a three point margin after Atkins got his stat after the siren......

So where the hell did that come from?
The Eagles CEO in a press conference where he was saying that Gaff is a victim too because everyone is being mean to him

I agree. It looks like he's aiming to either knock the arms away or strike in the chest but Brayshaw's body goes a bit lower unexpectedly. It's still 6+ games but I feel some sympathy for Gaff.
Should definitely get off then if his body went a bit lower. Pretty sure that was the reasoning used for the dope who smeared dooday (um, yeah auto correct or sumfin... let's go with that) all over the gabba to get off according to ol mate chrisso.

Beaten-up rookie Docker Andrew Brayshaw is not friends with assailant Andrew Gaff, did not play golf with the suspended Eagle and his family are not okay with the vicious derby attack that left the 18-year-old with a broken jaw and three displaced teeth.

West Coast chief executive Trevor Nisbett on Monday painted a picture of having a pleasant relationship with the Brayshaw family, whose son Hamish plays for the Eagles.

"It is an extremely unusual circumstance. Five days ago the three of them were on the golf course together," Nisbett said on Monday. "They have a genuine friendship."

But Brayshaw's older brother Angus, who plays for Melbourne, said his family were very upset at Gaff and he was unsure why Nisbett had told a packed media conference about a golf game that didn't include Andrew.

"I’m not sure how it’s been miscommunicated or who’s said what to who,” Brayshaw told the AFL Exchange podcast.

"They didn't play golf, Hamish said he wasn't sure where they (West Coast) got that from."
