Don't worry too much - I'm confident we'll get there. We are gradually but surely improving the list as well as all the other aspects of the club. Once we make our way back up the ladder and are managing our salary cap well, we'll be in the position the Hawks are - attracting the best and able to get them onto the list.

Pretty hard going from 18th to a destination club with the rules as they are.

I have no doubt we could attract top players if we were at the pointy end of the ladder, last time that happened was 2000 though and the landscape is vastly different now.

A pick around 20 and a couple state league players will have us challenging though....

That’s not to even mention keeping all of our own talented kids. The top clubs will come knocking for them if we don’t improve very soon.

Players want success, hence this FA debacle.

Gotta love this place. MS3 or one of the "in the know" posters come on here and post something like " we're into Shiel big time" and they get a gazillion likes.

New poster comes on with one that isn't liked and people line up to pot him.

I will rarely call out rumours, coz who am I to know if they are real or not?

I take most rumours with a grain of salt, but when I see a wild/saucy rumour (positive OR negative) from a poster's first port I upgrade it to.....

Well yes, that's what I'm saying. You may as well just play the conference finals now..

The AFL can learn nothing from the NBA in terms of equalisation.

100% agree yet that’s the model the players (Lord Dangerfield) want.

Why conference finals? The season may as well be cancelled, just like the last one.

Sport is about competition, why bother playing when the result is a known outcome? Takes all the enjoyment out of it.

Cripps Kennedy Curnow Setterfield Dow SPS Fisher O'Brien Cuningham is very close. Another good mature player or 2 would really help.
