Should be judged on whether the ball hits the stumps,a really caveman rule.

I know when I was bowling I always had a better view than the umpire. For those who have played cricket extensively, who has the best view of the delivery in terms of the line of the delivery? Would it be the bowler or keeper?

You'd get boring negative unwatchable cricket without it.Should be judged on whether the ball hits the stumps,a really caveman rule.

Dont we get all our reviews back with the new ball? Probably why they went for it

Ah well terrible review then.Nope...they changed that when they stopped counting umpires call unsuccessful reviews
Why?
The dumbest rule of cricket, the pitching outside rule.
If it goes on and hits the stumps it’s out imo.
A dumb rule.
And you would essentially have to have an asterisk next to every single player’s record from before and after a rule change.
Can someone check if this curator actually even holds a horticulturist ticket?
My 6 year old understands the LBW rule better than u do by the looks

It designed to reduce the probability of negative bowling. Why?
In the pre-DRS days it was entirely justified, but with DRS you have a very good idea as to whether the ball would hit offstump, so there is a case for modifying the rule a bit.
If the ball hits well outside off you wouldn't change the rule, but just outside off? Maybe.
Both actually.I'd rather be at the one with the more entertaining game.
Do you spend your time watching the crowd or the cricket?
Noone is told to go to the cricket.Wtf for?
Would you rather watch Taylor Swift with 70,000 people or watch someone decent at a small venue with 500-1000 other people who liked the music because it’s good, rather than because they’re told to?
