Blocking is one of the shittest rules in the game. That would happen 60 times a game and never get called.

It was the most obvious free-kick all night. Talia clearly had visions of the commentators praising his subtle defensive shielding work off-the-ball but was too slow/lazy to actually make a token effort to look like he was contesting.

Also it was more than 5m off the ball so any rules about the marking contest are irrelevant.
