Ablett expressed his opinion to like a post, the sensitive Hawk supporters expressed their opinion by booing because their feelings were hurt, and now the rest can express their opinion by laughing at the sensitivity over a social media 'like'. There's no 'sensitivity' involved in it. Ablett showed support for a discriminatory and bigoted opinion. Saying you disagree with something such as that is not sensitive.

You're not going to agree with everything that other people think/believe, some people seem to be unable to handle such a basic concept. It's easy to spot those two players from a distance for obvious reasons. Goodes with his skin color, and Ablett with his bald white skull. Makes it easier for the crowd to boo when they don't need to look up at the screen to see who is around the ball.

Ablett’s been bald for a while, the booing’s never been at that level.

Before Goodes was involved in several issues with supporters and became outspoken, he did some things on the field that annoyed people. However booing only really started on that level after the colour issues. That’s a fact.

2. Fine opposition club if booing freekicks incurred reach a certain number

One that he even went as far as to remove and give a valid explanation as to his reasoning for why he did it. Just a rating out of /10. For example, maybe the more sensitive Hawthorn supporters on Monday would give a solid 7/10 on the personal aggrievement front.

I'm genuinely curious if this is a real issue or just outrage culture at it again. Let's do it for science guys!

People were booing solely on the back of a like of a twitter post? Is that every single person that booed him? Again you and everyone opposed to his like are speculating on what he's thinking.

Whether or not you and I don't like that he liked the post is irrelevant, what is relevant is that the over reaction is real - everyone is ready to hang him on his like of a post of someone elses beliefs.

I want to make it clear that I love ALL people regardless of race, religion, gender or sexuality.
I have always admired how strong Izzy is in his faith, it is not easy to share faith in the public sphere, and this is why I initially 'liked' his post.
I understand that liking this post appeared offensive and this is why I chose to remove my 'like' from the post.

This is a complete falsehood

Nobody denies religious people their right to worship their God. Non-believers are against Christianity when it impinges upon their world. e.g. when hypocritical judgmental bible-bashers try to shove their religion down other people's throats and lecture other people on how to live their lives. This is the big problem with many Christians. If they kept their religious beliefs to themselves, nobody would give a shit. But they're not happy to live their lives, pray to their God and keep it to themselves. That's part of their sickness. They always try to convert others into their cult or preach at them with unsolicited lessons from the bible.

This evangelical behaviour goes right back through history, from the Crusades to missionaries around the world forcing their religion upon indigenous tribes in the New World to the present day where clowns stand on street corners waving their placards and screaming at passers-by. Or just well-meaning outwardly-normal people who can't resist slipping a bit of "Jesus loves you" to vulnerable people who just need someone to talk to.

This is what Israel Folau was doing (and by extension, Ablett when he liked Izzy's tweet). They were using their fame as a platform to spread their Christian bigotry. Most people aren't cool with that. Folau and Ablett can think what they like. They can even tweet whatever they like. Just as others can give them shit right back at them. It's a free country. You can be a campaigner and I can call you a campaigner.

That's a laugh. Siding with religious bigots who publicly announce that gays will burn in hell unless they repent and then accuse their critics of being against diversity and inclusivity?!?!? Strong faith does not necessarily equal homophobia. Its not outrage culture. Outrage culture is changing the little green man on the traffic lights to a little green woman in the name of equality, its not disagreeing with someone saying 'all homosexuals are going to hell'.
