This reeks.
Is the power broker a board member? If so this would need to come under the bombers total player payments.
Just saying.

Makes sense he was 100% Hawthorn bound until x came up(yes he was to the few floggo Essendon twats that will be reading here). It's simple the AFL should ban any part time work, any cash flow from out side your playing contract should be ground for de-registration, stop the crap with clear as cut salary cap cheating. This reeks.
Apart from the flog Geelong supporters, who really hated Cyril? Why is every so quick to love Eddie but Cyril got so much hate???

All been ticked off, 20k side job. I'm available to work, just sayin. But it's Essendon. The AFL are still making up for the fact they couldn't protect Essendon from WADA, so there's no way they'll bat an eyelid at this. The old integrity unit just won't be interested.
Looks like Hocking has them chasing down the Ablett booers at the momentBut it's Essendon. The AFL are still making up for the fact they couldn't protect Essendon from WADA, so there's no way they'll bat an eyelid at this. The old integrity unit just won't be interested.

Derm raises a good point. Back in the 80's players wouldn't do these cheap hits from behind, away from the ball. If they did then the umpires would turn the cheek when that player was retaliated against, and those players would know they were going to be hunted down for it.Porkins gets off with a slap on the trotters

Now players like Hawkins know they can do it, cop the fine and if anyone retaliates with him in play he can probably get himself a set shot at goal for it.
Any hit graded as intentional needs to be at minimum a week. At the very least make it at minimum a week for players who have a history of pulling this shit.

I am happy with fine first time and then a week next, two weeks the one after, etc...
Haha! "First time" *wink*I am happy with fine first time and then a week next, two weeks the one after, etc...
Yep. Worst of all it’s players hitting Sicily with no repercussion. He touches them and it’s a free shot at goal. It’s a ridiculous double standard. The club needs to be public on this issue. He is targeted every week and not allowed to defend himself.Derm raises a good point. Back in the 80's players wouldn't do these cheap hits from behind, away from the ball. It's the cool thing to do these days. Players are hailed as gods/funny for whacking Sicily, but Sicily is a grub for dishing it back. Good example was that game against Carlton in 2017 when they beat us. That Lamb campaigner spent the whole game niggling him, pushing him, hitting him and he was a "great tagger, doing a great job". Sicily hit him back, gave away a 50 and a free kick and he was a dirty grub. Kid will never win public affection
What gutless piece of shit Hawkins is. And did Sicily even get a free for that? I assume not given his chat with the ump. Where’s the potential to cause I jury. If Sicily did that it’d be front page news and 2 weeks. And I’m still pissed of when Hawkins jumper punched Stratton with no suspension or fine.Porkins gets off with a slap on the trotters

This has a lot to do with the fact Jaegar plays more as an outside midfielder than the in and under, bottom of the pack mids. No knock on him, just his style is a little less contested (but love his bouncing off oppo fend offs)The other thing that’s also getting under my skin is the lack of love for JOM from the umps. Compare his frees to someone like Sloane, Danger or Patrick Cripps. The amount of holding that went on on Monday by cam Guthrie on JOM was just ridiculous.
