Not sure that doing nothing is the right call either. They didn’t have to go out and have a Tottenham window or overspend like City.. but you guys had a pretty good injury run, especially with the front 3, no guarantee that happens again. Striker and central midfield depth would’ve been handy. 1-2 upgrades/competition for existing players is the way to go imo. City do it well every year (even if they do overspend to achieve it).

I’m not a Liverpool fan so just commenting from the sidelines. But I’m aware that Liverpool have two very very good youth strikers, and I think that some bench time and even a few late match subs against lower teams would aid their development and give top players more of a rest

Yeah I do love this time of year, all the rumours and bulls**t. Plus adding new footballers to the team.
I just got a bit bored with us not adding new players - I think our whole fanbase were a bit flat last season because of it. Least you’ve got a new player in Pulisic to watch

Yeah Pulisic looks exciting, this window could have been oh so much worse. Of all the youngster joining the squad I'm most excited about Mount, he's my boy.

Arsenal went amazing, for a team with no budget they've pulled an all time window. They'll be challenging.

Chelsea did well all things considered. Pulisic looks to be a good signing.
Spurs have done well, probably one or two short.
City and Liverpool didn't need to do anything really.
United did excellent for defence but has fluffed the rest of it, sold no deadwood and didn't get any new midfielders or attackers. Another Woody special.
The other teams in the chasing pack strengthened well enough to be in calculations for a top 4-6 finish.

Thought Spurs could/should have targeted a RB. Saw Atal and Hysaj linked, but nothing overly concrete

Dybala will feel like a let down because it looked close. But was really the cherry on top in the race.
Will be more of a case of what could have been.
Plan B should have been in place - unless that's keep Eriksen until Jan and try for Dybala again or another target.

Not really, i think it's closer to £35 million, it's about right, iwobi isn't as bad as what everyone seems to think on here, reckon he'll do well at everton.
Still a bit overpriced for him imo.
But credit to arsenal for there negotiation skills.

Iwobi will be solid for Everton. Seems like he is an unfortunate casualty of us unable to move on the likes of Mhki, Mustafi as we needed to balance the books some how.

Hopefully means the likes of Reiss Nelson and Saka get some game time now though.
Was Iwobi a home grown?
