September in Melbourne:
- middle aged men get their convertible sports cars out - ready to cruise to Portsea pub, Yarra Valley wineries etc
- lawns regenerate - get the mower out - takes 16 goes to start
- magnolias in flower
- Pie fans dare to hope, dream, imagine, hallucinate, plan etc - not too much in case severe devastation befalls - here we go again - in with a chance...............

Have been watching some 2018 finals games today, has me absolutely pumped about the month ahead. Our best footy and a bit of luck and there is no reason we can’t win the flag, the side will lose the pain of last year to get us home and taste the ultimate success.
It begins Friday night, Geelong will be shell shocked when they see what confronts them.
Straight through to the prelim where we discard of the young Brisbane side and onto the GF, an absolute classic against the Tigers, the pies by 11 points!!
The side is ready the peak at the right time, players coming back in and a game plan that we know can stand up.

I’m pumped, bring it on as the ride is going to be epic!

Nowhere near my prediction but that's what I am hoping for - would prefer Essendon to meet us in the Prelim though

Of the teams remaining I think only the Pies and WC have any improvement left in them.
Would not be surprised if the GF is a rematch with us turning the tables of course
