Both loses proved Essendon and the Bulldogs should not have been in the finals. I mean they should have in that they may have been the 7th and 8th best in 2019 but both games have proved that both teams were merely making up the numbers in the finals.

Yeah true. Maybe running out of gas after so many much win games but they haven't really given a yelp and the Dogs game plan relies basically on them getting heaps more of the ball than the other team.
