Pies are said to be unloading Rupert Wills due to salary cap pressure. We could do worse than pick him up for a packet of crisps to crash and bash in the middle while our young mids develop.

Happy to swap our 2020 first for Suns 2020 second. Assuming we finish 8th and Suns 17 th translates on points to about pick 40 in what will be the most compromised draft to date.

KPD - If Jones or Weitering go down -
Marchbank may take one of the KPD's roles. Reckon he'd do O.K. on plenty of second talls.
Macreadie - 198cm KPD that didn't have a good year but may just need that carrot I mentioned. Sad to see him playing the way he is.

Ruck - If Kreuzer goes down
TDK - Opporunity, opportunity, opportunity is a wonderful thing.
Otherwise either Phillips or another ruckman we may bring in...and then there's McKay as relief ruck. He best get used to it.

KPF - If McKay or CCurnow go down.
Smaller forward line as is the case for many teams.
Not sure Casboult did anything particularly good when playing forward anyway.

I just go back to opportunity and holding onto Casboult as a 'break in case of emergency player' doesn't do it for me.
Is he a walk up start right now? I don't think so and that alone should be enough to send him our best wishes should he choose to walk for a better contract.

I totally understand what you're saying Harks but you don't get rid of a guy to make an injured, under performing kid feel better about himself.

Hey Arrow do you know much about Tyrone Thorne or Ryan Bennell, I read on the AFL site that Thorne has a bit of Betts about him, also him and Bennell broke the WA combine agility record.

Would be a good time to bring in a young indigenous small forward to work with Eddie in his last couple of years and learn all they can from him, could use a late pick or maybe a rookie selection to get him.

Did wonders for Garlett and then Charlie Cameron at Adelaide so I think with him returning it is perfect timing to get a young kid to learn from the great man. Do you have any other suggestions for players that could fit the bill?

Mal Rosas, lightning quick

Not sure if this has already been posted (couldn't find it). Nothing too interesting although it states * reckon they'll land Cutler. Also they spelled Papperly strangely....

Essendon holds firm with Sydney on Joe Daniher as Carlton waits nervously on Tom Papley

LOL. * are the ones holding firm? Sydney have all but told them to **** off over their demands. Sydney are the ones holding firm.

I was doing some Instagram stalking today.

Eddie Betts had has last stop on his book tour at Norwood arts centre. Which has been ongoing for the last 2 weeks. (Which is why I believe this wasn’t done last week, Carlton is going to want the feel good photo) He is obviously now available for a photo shoot & press conference at Princes Park.

Assuming he spent the night in Adelaide & he doesn’t want to rush in the morning (Tough with kids) and the AFL Virgin contract, I’m tipping a 130pm press conference and a lodgement just before that. That would mean the 935am out of Adelaide arriving at Tulla at 1125, then giving him a couple of hours before the announcement.

So every get ready around 130pm
Not to mention the spike in Eddie's book sales in Melbourne 4.00pm due to his return to the Blues😎😎😎😎
Everyone one loves Eddie and his own life story, from where he started to where he is today.
Inspirational!!
Time to don the Navy Blue again Eddie and return to the place where your heart never left 💙💙💙💙

I’m sorry I have no idea who this Malthouse is you speak off and I will not be reminded
I like being reminded about as much as when Nixon's 'work' is mentioned around here.

I was always a guitar band man, but New Order was the exception. Their arrangements and production blow me away. And as you said , great story teller .
I preferred them in their Joy Division incarnation, more raw and jagged. The original band themselves didn't like the over production of their albums compared to their live sound.

My coffee maker reckons a big, big fish is coming to Carlton! Surely he's in the know .... Right ?

What team does N. Espresso play for? Will we be able to satisfy them with a fair trade? I'm worried that it will go right down to the wire and won't happen until very latte on Wednesday.

I'll see myself out...
