Less than they wanted. Hence ******* off half the cast for the 2021 soft reboot.

Lucky to get what they did, although the next one is shaping up to be something very exciting.

It will be the same as suicide squad i heard it was bad but curiosity got the better of me.

Now Im not a comic book reader so my knowledge of the birds of prey comes from things ive seen/read on the net and Arrow who had Black Canary and Huntress.
As far as I can tell those are pretty iconic characters in the comics and im sure alot of fans would have pretty excited to see them on the big screen for the first time instead Margot has decided to make it all about her in that trailer.

Im not even sure how its all gonna work since Black Canary is a hero but is she working with Harley in this?

I know Chad Stahelski was bought in late to re-shoot some action sequnces but going by that doesnt seem he had a lot to work with.

There is an entire comic run for birds of prey.
Harley isn't necessary a bad guy all the time either.

Yes the birds iirc are Harley huntress and black canary.

Gotham city sirens would have been better than birds of prey imo.

Harley catwoman and ivy is infinately more fun.

If it’s anything like Suicide Squad minus the meddling of WB. There’s going to at least be a decent film.

I think it looks good, was a bit worried about all the colourfulness and the early promos made it look shot as a commercial. But this trailer has sold me.

Sterge already mentioned Sirens, I enjoyed those stories more than Birds of Prey and would suggest checking that if you were interested. Ivy and Catwoman make a more interesting fit.

Huntress yes has some very good stories. Good supporting act in Hush for example. Hoping they don’t ruin her character as DC/WB have done a few times over the years.

I wouldn’t necessarily say Margot has made it all about her in this trailer. Surely that’s due to her marketability, considering the other characters are largely unknown.

Harley is their main feature here and was one of the better qualities from Suicide Squad, which I otherwise that was awful (she, Deadshot and even Boomerang carried that movie).

I recall reading a Sirens movie was under development a few years ago but think that’s all fallen away since.

Paul Dano cast as Riddler.

Definitely didn’t see that coming, but a very welcoming choice.

Great actor and up there with Jeffrey Wright as the best casting choice for this movie.

This is shaping up very nicely. They have pretty much nailed every role.

My only concern is Kravitz but we will see how she goes. Feel De Armas would have been better but its done now.
