Because the Adelaide media were very quick to publish multiple stories about Jackson assaulting a man (when he did not) pep assaulting a woman (he did not) and Ryder assaulting police (he did not).

all were treated as scandals, with multiple stories written about them for days.
Crows embroiled in probably the most scandalous thing you can imagine and 1/10th the words get written as the made up stuff attributed to Port.

if port fans are critical of the media and crows fans they have that right imo.

That is the point, both sides of the fence and stories are utter gutter levels of bullshit reporting. Lazy pissant efforts with personal agendas rapped up.

The AFL has selected eight players from each club who will be eligible to compete in next month’s Victoria vs All-Stars bushfire relief match.

The league announced on Wednesday it has written to all 18 clubs asking whether eight players will be available - four for Victoria and four for the All-Stars - for the State of Origin match on Friday February 28 at Marvel Stadium.

Players were selected based on criteria including whether they made the 2019 All-Australian squad, finishes in club best and fairest counts, as well as the need to fill all possible positions and current injuries.

Possibly, I believe the seat of Port Adelaide his typically a Labour stronghold where as Adelaide has been fairly marginal.

This sort of thing has been going on since before time really. Still don't expect any grants if your in a safe seat either way.
