How many times do experts have to debunk the shopping centre panic bs before everyone stops bangin on about it? Chances are so low due to you momentarily passing them. You'd have to be unlucky enough to walk past/behind them just as they coughed/whatever. It's momentary passing.
Don't bother, it's a wa thing

How do they know? Because there have been no cases of kids contracting it at school. All cases have been confirmed from households. My post nor the one I was responding to were anything to do with WA or McGowan, not sure why you are bringing that up.
So where are the households contracting it. How does a household that didn't have it all of a sudden have it? It doesn't just appear from nowhere, it is passed on by someone.... community spread I think they call it.
To answer your question, I brought it up because it is relevant to the AFL season. Andrews & his Govt are obviously doing something wrong because Victoria is the Corona capital of Australia and this has put the rest of the AFL season at risk. McGowan, by comparison, refuses to bow to external pressures and is doing a whole lot right, doing what he is paid to do by sticking to his guns and protecting his constituents, despite external pressures wanting him to open the borders.
Cancel the season I say because it is already unfairly compromised and in the interest of workplace safety, I wouldn't want anything to do with playing against a Victorian team. If the Vic DHHP had any balls they'd ban the AFL as part of the increase in restrictions but we all know they won't that because there would be an uproar and the loss of broadcast revenue would be a threat to the very existence of some of the struggling Melbourne based clubs.

McGowan has the highest unemployment rate in the country despite the mining industry.

Did anyone else in here get the impression that the collected media at Gils presser were about to like up to have a go at tongue punching his fart box?
The way they were carrying on about what a great job he's done?

Is the virus transmittable when asymptomatic or not? Does it remain transmittable for two weeks or three weeks?

The mixed messaging around this is truly laughable, and the cherry on top is that most people just shrug their shoulders and assume 'muh expert advice' must be based on something other than complete bullshit.

If people who test negative have to remain in quarantine for two weeks after returning home, why would anybody who has been on contact with McKenna not have to do the same thing before being allowed to return to the club?

Nothing against Essendon, they are in a tough spot now, this could (and might) happen to any other club, and my questions will remain the same:

Where's the ****ing consistency, and why does almost nobody seem to care that the story changes day to day, 'expert' to 'expert'?

The virus has been around for nearly 7 months.

Meaning there is a lot we don't know about it. Hence the "mixed messages".

I think all non-Vic Clubs should refuse to go to the Corona capital of Australia.... call it a workplace safety issue and lodge a complaint with WorkSafe Vic and make them address the issue.:mask:..... BTW, well played by the Suns last week

NSW has the most active cases

So when does the season get called off?
Right now, stop effing around and do it! But we all know they'll just keep pushing until they have to stop there is money involved and the AFL needs the broadcasting revenue not for propping up the interstate clubs (other than GC and GWS which was of their own making), but the struggling Vic clubs who will not survive without it and who the AFL refuse to let go the way of Fitzroy.

Apparently muh 'experts' knew enough about it four months ago to tell the world to shut down.

How can they (and their defenders) now claim 'oh gee fellas give us some time we don't know what we're dealing with here'?

Time for some of these nameless faceless 'experts' to be held accountable.

$omething has changed since April with the AFLPA's attitude to a player testing positive

I had a conversation with a player in April and he was of the view the AFLPA would stop all games if one player tests positive.

Patrick Dongerflog isn't worth a cracker... this is a player and workplace safety issue the workplace needs to be shutdown.
