Look here young pup, you could win the next 3 and theres still no comparison or jealousy šŸ˜‚

Smith looks a jet and I genuinely dont know who will be better, but let's not forget you've won 2 prems in all of history.

Let’s not also forget that you guys have more spoons than us. Also not forget that we are equal on premierships for the AFL era. You guys dominated the VFL era but not the AFL era.

Carlton have certainly had more misses than hits over the past 10 years of 1st round draft picks (2009-2018, ignoring last year because its far too early):

- Wins: Cripps, Weitering, Curnow, Walsh
- Failures: Lucas, Watson, Bootsma, Menzel, Boekhurst, Cuningham
- Juries still out: McKay (likely win), O'Brien, Stocker, Petrevski-Seton (not sure), Dow (likely fail)

Besides Cripps and Walsh, the 2015 draft has been the saving grace.
This post aged well muppet. Cuningham best on. Just had a better game than bailey has had all year.

Oh well based on that let's write him in as another success then shall we?

Was good tonight, probably his career best game. He's still averaging 14 touches and less than a goal per game this year, and less then that over his career. The bar must be low is that's how Carlton define 1st round successes.

He might end up being what you hope for in a late 1st round pick. Maybe.

Lets not forget all Carltons won theirs with poaching players and with no salary cap and no draft and a 12 team comp, still premierships but not as easy to do it with this time.

Or we could just ride off 20 year olds as keyboard warriors.

Looks pretty easy to me once free agency arrived. Top teams get players for nothing.

He's a 23 year old 1st round pick who's played less than 30 games and hasn't starred in any of them except tonight. No keyboard warrior here, just general discussion, unless we're talking about the bloke ironically calling others muppets.

Well maybe pay attention. My reply was to a person from your club who called him a loss from SOSs first round picks. Keep up.

So you are saying premierships are easier to win now then they were with no salary cap and no draft and players from states outside of Victoria could be bought by clubs with wealth businessman as their backers?

Hard to understand what you’re saying, but if you’re referring to Cunningham he is 23.
Does that Change the fact you were wrong calling him a loss. He’s been injured for over 18 months in his first 3 years at Carlton. First full pre season and look what he produces. Maybe dogs supporters should shut the **** up about previous Carlton first rounders. I’m getting quite sick of it actually.

We are grateful for your tolerance until now, thank you.

Keep up with reality, one good game in 4 years does not equate to a win either, easy there champ.
NEither does bailey smith deserve to be In this conversation. What the **** has he done.Walsh just grabbed a lazy 9 in the first quarter today. No one batted an eyelid. That’s because it’s expected. Someone like smith does anything they like to put him up against the best.

Calling one good game in four years a win and you write what has Smith done? had a very good first year played every game, and the first four rounds has been almost our best mid, and thats with a deep good midfield.

Ride off??? Wtf are you talking about?! This is why I hate losing to Carlton. You’re all illiterate dumb campaigners.
I spend way too much of my time explaining to dumb people. Read the posts. I was told that Cuningham
Is a sos loss for drafting first rounders. I’m using tonight as an example of why Cuningham is better than that. No one can argue different.

Had a bit to much ales with tonight's game i can tell. :beercheers::beermug::beercheers::beermug:
I’ll be here awhile. I’ll be here to remind you in a few months when it all turns to shit. Just look at the ladder. How cool is it for a carlton supporter to say that. Get ****ing used to it.

Actually I like the dogs and just brought up the premierships discussion to not get ahead of himself by bragging about one recent premiership.

Let's get back on topic, Walsh played better than last week but still not the heights of last year. For me I think he's trying to adjust to his heavier frame so he may be less mobile in 2020 than last year.

Smith again a strong week.

Will be a good season watch both players, without getting into a pissing contest about whose club is more successful.
