Yeah I'm not thinking inside, so to speak (!) One thing at-a-time.Langford was a bust on the inside. He's been pretty good on the outside this year although we only have 2 pre season games and round 1 to go off. HFF/Wing is a good area for Langford to work in. Redman plays on half the wing from HBF anyway, he just doesn't start centre bounces on the side of the square. I think the people wanting for him to be looked at in the midfield were thinking inside, possibly becoming a Yeo type.
Reckon you might be onto something there. It's bloody weird otherwise given he's allegedly going to be available. He apparently trained on Sunday by himself, rather than Saturday with the group, and is supposed to be available against Sydney.
We haven't heard what exactly is supposed to be sore yet, have we? Just a theory, but I wonder if he's got a sore throat or something and has to pass a couple of coronavirus tests before he can train with the rest of the group.

"...can win his own ball but also deliver it well." I reckon we're moving towards competition for wing roles between Cutler, Redman, Ham and Langford.I'd completely forgotten he was a forward when we drafted him.
Redman is a classy medium forward with pace, skills and bounce. His ability overhead and smarts around goal make him a dangerous forward. Redman has a mix of traits that will see him play all over the ground, and he can win his own ball but also deliver it well. He will continue to develop his frame, but is seen as one of South Australia's most exciting players and one who is likely to be taken in the second round of the draft.
Twomey draft profile ^

I'm looking forward to it. Allows us to keep Gleeson and Francis. If Langford is given a high half forward role, that could allow Redman to roll back on the same wing to play behind the ball and deliver forward to Langford and others thereabouts. Means he can still play a defensive roll and help out down back but push forward as well. His creativity and delivery i50 will be valuable.Given weāve been setting up with a skinny wingman and an outside wingman I wonder which role they have in mind for Redman.
Gotten a bath one whoever he has played on tonight plus his decision making and kicking is atrocious. Complete 180 on last year going by his last 3 gamesSpanked by a first gamer...![]()
You mean the game after his man kicked 3 on him?I reckon the coaches shot his confidence after dropping him couple of weeks ago. They didn't need to do that. He seems like the sort of player that just needs to keep playing consistent games. I reckon he'll be okay after a couple of consecutive games
