Without listening in sure that's related to his soccer background. Some of them will play 50-60 games a season. Guessing it you treat games like your main training session you're basically seeing no difference

When everyone’s doing it no one is. Every team will be gassed - probably teams that don’t over-exert themselves like they normally would and balance their energy over four quarters will both suffer fewer injuries and win more games. If anything we could probably do with a little less effort for the sake of effort, and a little more stopping to pause and think through our actions with ball in hand.

What a year to have someone like Burgo at the club, i wouldn't be to worried about Thursday night, it would be more so if we played Wednesday next week meaning 3 games in 9/10 days. That's where the fatigue can set it.
