Tonight’s game is an example of why wallis is only an average forward.

Just doesn’t have the athleticism to compete against the best.
Contrast him with Richmonds smallish forwards who are much more dynamic.

Wallis is a symptom of all that ills our makeshift forward line. He has always relied on good delivery to kick his goals and once that evaporates so does he.

We desperately need more dynamism in the forward line and less mids with no forward craft trying to plug holes.

Our losses this season unfortunately show how far we are off pace we are been flogged in all of them. Non worst than tonight the tigers are younger than us and we been belted in all areas.

Also pretty concerning that we don’t seem to have the self belief to really fight back when we’ve been down this season. Once were down by 3-4 goals in a game we never seem to make any inroads.

To be fair most teams this year have been like this. 80% of games have resulted in the team in front at quarter time going on the win, over the past few years it's been 55%-60%.

They have just worked so much harder and wanted it more, they have nearly double our marks and only +4 for contested. Just shows they are hitting open targets and we aren’t anywhere to be found

Bevo looks at the start of the last qtr and says: I’ll put Billy on the ball, he’ll add some grunt, I’ve never seen someone in such a place of power with a completely delusional opinion of an individual ever.
