Another ‘why wasn’t Weideman playing’ article on the AFL website FFS. He was a skinny 22yo KPF who wasn’t ready, that’s why. Been plenty of those, they don’t need to break it down into every single thing he was doing at training to make it seem like they’re unpacking some great mystery about how he’s matured and started to look decent. I feel like his run of form in 2018 actually did him more harm than good in 2019. Got lucky, hit some form, played above his age and size. Can’t be in that kind of touch all the time, so if your skill set and maturity isn’t there you will be inconsistent.

I know points for and against are rally skewed atm because some sides have played 12 games most 11 and eagles on 10 but;

we are 5th for points for and the saints are the only side above us also on 11 games

we are 3rd for points against admittedly that’s were the “game in hand helps”

freo are second for points against after 11 games as well but have scored almost 200 less points than us

Normally I’m averse to praising them but the AFL has done very well with the fixture here - at least from our end. We lose out on one day’s rest for a couple of them but apart from that it’s superb.

Big for the run in too given that Essendon play 3 in 11 days with the third against Geelong who get a bye in that week.

We did luck out a bit drawing norf and crows back to back.

I think we played crows and pies on the back of 4 days break vs our 6 days

I enjoy the content, I hide the chat.

There's no avoiding the chat, people donating cash to ask dumb questions and say ******ed things, and the streamers constantly referring to such children as "family" just coz they are receiving money from them when they honestly couldn't give a shit about them.

I find the whole setup and pandering to kids with mummy and daddys credit card a disgrace.

The world is much worse for twitch being in it.
