Just my two cents, but I think this is a time fraught with challenges for Stack.

After what was a great pre-season by all reports, he did not handle being away from the club environment well during the lockdown. Now he will be away from the club for an unclear amount of time, which may be until pre-season starts in Jan.

Next few months will be career defining for him.
As angry as he may be with Stack at the moment, it is almost needed for Dimma to send him to live with his family until the entire squad comes back or head over to Balme's place (if he isnt up in QLD). It could seem that Stack needs a few more seasons living with a strong figure to mature better.

I’d doubt dimma would do that however it’s valid that the kid needs to shack up with a qty family

It's unclear who he is with right now. His manager said he had organised someone from his family to be in Melbourne.

His manager is concerned about the lack of support available in Victoria at the moment, and the fact he would be going back in to a city still under tight restrictions.

His manager is working through getting him back to WA.

He won't be under the same quarantine provisions the AFL teams were under where they could train etc. It'd be 14 days in a hotel room with netflix, daily 30 minute fresh air etc.

Then he will be in WA away from the club, they can't visit him, and he will be on his own two feet.

I think everyone is at a bit of a loss in terms of what the best place is for him right now. There's no clear good option for where he should be between now and the end of the season.

His choice is stay in Melbourne under stage 4 lockdown and no support or go back to WA under 14 day HQ, then be with family and friends, some of whom may not be a great influence, and be away from the club.

What a terrible choice.

I don’t know if I’ve missed something here .... has it been proven they entered and were kicked out of the Strip club .... I havnt seen any footage of that .... and surely there would be video evidence of them entering and leaving ..... so have I missed that ?.... these two young men have made a huge mistaken ... and take it from me I’ve made some doozies over the years.... they can come back from this .... it takes hard work but this could define them and it’s a chance for them both to show if they have that in them.... I hope things work out for both of them ...

Who ever is left in Melbourne should take him in for a while. This is a kid who has openly said that members of his family and friends are shitty people so it would be on the club to give the correct support. If Balme is still in Melbourne, then it could be a good opportunity for Stack to head there, hell as uncomfortable as it could be, Peggy could offer to help.

Why would she not go to the police as soon as she can instead of posting on social media for attention?

It's what young people do these days, they've been brought up on facebook, instagram etc.
It's totally normal for them to put their entire lives on social media, it's probably abnormal if they don't put this sort of stuff on instagram.

It hasn’t been confirmed publicly but reading between the lines from the club statement is pretty clear they were there. The use of the term “venue” vs “food outlet” is key.

I agree with you, it is going to be a very challenging time for him. However, maybe I’m being a bit naive, but I think he has it in him to get through this time without getting into too much trouble. I’m going to believe in him until he gives me a reason not to.

You know I haven't been 100 percent sure how I feel about the whole scandal, however since that corrupt hypocritical tub of lard Eddie McGuire has come out and said they should both be sacked, I say rally behind the boys. They made a mistake but let's see if they have what it takes to make it up to the club. But as for McGuire and his double standards, go f*** yourself.

Much as though I’m not a fan of McGuire, it was pies loser Tony Jones that called for instant dismissal, not McGuire.

Time to go away now.... You're on the Sydney thread abiut Taylor too. Obviously take great delight in other clubs controversy, hope all is ship shape at West Coast....

Where have I taken great delight in the controversy of either Stack or Taylor?

In both instances I am saying club should stick fat with the player and support them etc.

Both are young Indigenous boys from WA, and I'm hoping in both instances they are able to work through their issues and go on to have great careers.

But fair enough then.
